Virat Kohli Seeks Blessings at Simhachalam Temple After ODI Series Win
Virat Kohli Simhachalam Temple visit: Team India star batter Virat Kohli visited the famous Simhadri Srivaraha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Simhachalam, Visakhapatnam, after India’s impressive ODI series victory against South Africa. He was accompanied by young all-rounder Washington Sundar.
Temple authorities gave a warm welcome to the cricketers and made special arrangements for darshan. Virat Kohli performed traditional rituals, embraced the sacred Kappasthambham, and completed pradakshina at the temple. He later offered prayers inside the sanctum and took part in special pujas.
After the darshan, temple priests blessed Kohli and Sundar with Vedic chants and presented them with holy theertha prasadam and a portrait of Lord Appanna Swamy. The temple premises witnessed huge excitement as fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the star cricketer. Several devotees were seen clicking selfies from a distance.
This visit came after Team India’s dominant performance in the third ODI match held in Visakhapatnam, where they secured a comfortable win and sealed the series 2-1 against South Africa.
Virat Kohli had a stellar series, scoring 302 runs, which included two centuries and one half-century. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded the Player of the Series. Kohli continues to enjoy a strong fan following in Visakhapatnam, where he has a remarkable batting record. Fans believe the blessings of Simhadri Appanna Swamy will continue to guide him towards greater success.
