Railway Apprentice Jobs 2025 Notification Released
Railway Apprentice Jobs 2025: Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Punjab, a unit of the Union Ministry of Railways, has released a new Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 notification. This recruitment drive invites applications for 225 apprentice posts across multiple technical trades. The best part is that selection will be done without a written exam, purely on merit basis.
Candidates who have completed 10th, Intermediate (12th), and ITI in relevant trades are eligible to apply.
Total Vacancies – 225 Posts
The department-wise vacancy details are given below:
- Electrician – 120 Posts
- Mechanic (Diesel) – 25 Posts
- Machinist – 12 Posts
- Fitter – 50 Posts
- Welder (Gas & Electric) – 18 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
Passed 10th / Intermediate (12th)
Must hold ITI Certificate in the relevant trade
Age Limit: 15 to 24 years (Age relaxation as per government rules)
Salary (Stipend Details)
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of:
₹9,600 to ₹11,040 per month
Selection Process
There will be no written exam. Selection will be based on merit of educational qualifications.
