Vijay Deverakonda’s Mass Warning and Emotional Words at The Girlfriend Success Meet — Praises Rashmika Mandanna
Vijay Deverakonda The Girlfriend speech: Actor Vijay Deverakonda grabbed everyone’s attention at the grand success celebrations of The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran. The film starring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, with Dixit Shetty and Anu Emmanuel in key roles, continues to perform well in theatres with impressive collections.
At the event held in Hyderabad, Vijay Deverakonda delivered an emotional speech that has now gone viral on social media. The actor admitted that the film moved him deeply.
“I watched The Girlfriend today. It made me emotional. I had to hold back my tears at several points. This is one of the finest films I have seen in recent times,” he said.
Talking about the film’s take on modern relationships, Vijay expressed sympathy for those experiencing such struggles.
“I genuinely feel sorry for people who go through relationships like the ones shown in the movie. We should learn to respect others — whether at work or in our personal lives. Relationships should offer mutual protection, not control,” he emphasized.
He continued,
“Life is short. Between birth and death, what we make of life is our choice. Let’s live freely, share joy, and spread kindness.”
Vijay also heaped praises on Rashmika Mandanna, his Geetha Govindam co-star, calling her “Bhuma Devi” for her innocence and warmth.
“Rashmika has always been selfless and positive. She wants everyone around her to be happy. Watching her journey from Geetha Govindam to choosing strong scripts like The Girlfriend makes me proud,” he said.
Ending his speech with a light-hearted warning, he said,
“If anyone wins me, I’ll go in reverse! But Rashi (Rashmika) never lets negativity affect her. She stays calm, does her work, and keeps moving forward. I’m proud of you, Rashi. The Girlfriend is one of the best films I’ve watched in recent times.”
Vijay Deverakonda’s heartfelt message and mass warning have now become a viral topic among fans, earning widespread appreciation online.
