‘RRR’ Fans Turn Up the Pressure on the Oscars Academy!

There is a strong case for Rajamouli’s magnum opus, ‘RRR’, to be recognized at the Oscars. Not just the Indian audience but many Western audiences claim that it should at least get a nomination if not an award in the Best International Feature Film category. There is a huge campaign on social media regarding ‘RRR’ at the Oscars.

The Academy (Oscars) took to Twitter and asked, “Officially, the 95th Academy Awards are six months away. Prediction time. Which movie do you think will win Best Picture at next year’s Academy Awards ceremony?” year?”. As expected, many comments say that ‘RRR’ is the best option and most comments are related to ‘RRR’.

One comment reads, “There’s no better choice than RRR for Best International Feature.” There are more tweets like this and it can be said that the hype and euphoria of ‘RRR’ are reaching the Academy of the Oscars through social networks. As we know, ‘RRR’ turned out to be a huge box office hit around the world when it was released in theaters. The Hindi version came out on Netflix and topped the worldwide trending chart for 14 weeks, which was a massive record.

‘RRR’ is produced by DVV Danayya with a budget of over Rs 400 crore. The lead actors gave great performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars of the film’s success. Alia Bhatt plays the role of Sita in this film, while Ajay Devgn appears in a short role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the movie and she looked really cute.

Aside from a few prominent Hollywood actors, ‘RRR’ has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani, and others in key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set against the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Both enjoy the huge success of this pan-Indian film. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography, while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the visual effects supervisor for this huge project. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer.
