After RRR, superstar Mahesh Babu is teaming up with visionary director SS Rajamouli for an international-scale adventure film, tentatively titled SSMB29. With an estimated budget of nearly ₹1000 crore, this ambitious project is expected to become India’s first true pan-world movie, releasing in multiple Indian and foreign languages.
Rajamouli Unveils Prithviraj’s Powerful Villain Look
In true Rajamouli style, the director has begun teasing fans with intriguing updates. Recently, he unveiled the look of Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the main antagonist named Kumbha. The character, shown in a wheelchair with robotic arms, stunned fans and raised expectations sky-high.
Meanwhile, the film’s promotional song “Sanchari”, sung by Shruti Haasan, is trending across social media platforms.
Star-Studded Cast and Global Collaboration
Produced by PL Narayana under the Sri Durga Arts banner, SSMB29 features an impressive lineup of talent. Global icon Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and several top Indian and Hollywood technicians are part of the crew.
Music is composed by MM Keeravani, while the story is penned by Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad.
Grand Title Launch at Ramoji Film City
Rajamouli has announced that the official title and Mahesh Babu’s look will be unveiled on November 15 at a grand event titled “Globe Trotter” at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Interestingly, Jio Hotstar has acquired the broadcast rights for the event, adding to the anticipation.
Priyanka Chopra’s Look as Mandakini Takes the Internet by Storm
Ahead of the title reveal, Rajamouli surprised everyone by releasing Priyanka Chopra’s first look from the film. She plays the character Mandakini, and her viral photo shows her firing a gun in a vibrant yellow saree — blending glamour and grit perfectly.
Rajamouli described her as “the woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage… the world is waiting to witness the many shades of Mandakini.”
As fans rave over Priyanka’s look and Prithviraj’s villainous transformation, all eyes are now on Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited reveal at the title launch event.
