PM Modi appoints T-congress MP

Narendra Modi: Senior Congress Leader and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi tomorrow. This meeting has taken on great significance amid unconfirmed reports suggesting that the senior Komatireddy will join the BJP.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has been upset with the congressional high command for a long time. The other day he was so scared that his name disappeared from the new work commissions. Immediately, Komatireddy met with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and they discussed internal party affairs. After this meeting, some added that Komatireddy calmed down and very soon he will be active in the affairs of the T-Congress.

But the fact is that Komatireddy is still in no mood to work under the leadership of T-PCC boss Revanth Reddy. He had hoped that Revanth would be removed from office after Munugode’s by-election, but that did not happen. However, Komatireddy is hopeful of landing the much-desired role of head of T-PCC.

As he patiently awaits the role of T-PCC, Komatireddy is also keeping his options open about his future. Had Rajgopal Reddy won the Munugode by-election, Venkat Reddy would have joined the BJP by now, political analysts said. They added that Venkat Reddy will get clarity once he meets PM Modi and then he will take a call to resign from Congress.

Meanwhile, T-Congress says that Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will meet PM Modi only to discuss development works for his Lok Sabha constituency. “Each parliamentarian can meet with the Prime Minister or any other central minister for the development of his constituency. There is nothing wrong with that,” Gandhi Bhavan’s sources said.
