Pawan Kalyan’s Focus on Jana Sena Purge: New Committees Formation Starts from 6 Districts

Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has shifted his complete focus toward reorganising and strengthening the party across Andhra Pradesh. A year and a half after the coalition government was formed, Pawan Kalyan has initiated a party-wide purge aimed at cleansing the organisation and preparing it for the upcoming local body elections and the 2029 Assembly polls.

Major Restructuring Underway in Jana Sena

Pawan Kalyan has taken crucial decisions regarding the formation and composition of new Jana Sena committees. The leadership is conducting background verification to determine who deserves a position in the reorganised committees.

The Jana Sena Party Central Committee has been holding continuous meetings with leaders, activists, and Mahila Shakti members from various constituencies. They are gathering suggestions on party programs, political situations, and administrative issues. It is reported that Pawan Kalyan personally reviews these reports before finalising decisions.

Purification After 1.5 Years of Governance

With several MLAs, ministers, and nominated post-holders already active in the party, Pawan Kalyan believes that this is the right time to initiate a restructuring exercise. The party wants to strengthen its internal system before the local elections intensify.

Hence, the Jana Sena leadership has decided to form new committees from the ground level—village, mandal, constituency, district, and state.

Purging Begins from Six Key Districts

The committee reorganisation process has reportedly reached a crucial stage in the following joint districts:

  • Nellore
  • Prakasam
  • Guntur
  • Krishna
  • Vizianagaram
  • Srikakulam

While the Jana Sena is already strong in the Visakhapatnam and Godavari regions, Pawan Kalyan wants to improve organisational strength in the above-mentioned six districts.

He instructed the cadre to follow a scientific, coordinated approach to party formation from village to state levels.

New Committees to Boost Jana Sena’s Representation

Amid the alliance in Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena has been allotted certain nominated posts. However, activists insist that internal party posts should also be filled promptly.

The leadership believes that strengthening village, mandal, and district-level committees is essential for expanding Jana Sena’s reach ahead of the 2029 elections. Pawan Kalyan directed senior leaders to complete the appointment of new committees before the upcoming local body elections.

He also emphasised involving activists in grassroots programs and government performance campaigns.

Strengthening Jana Sena for the 2029 Elections

Pawan Kalyan is reportedly planning to increase the party’s representation in the 2029 elections by:

Expanding leadership at the village and mandal levels

Appointing fresh committees by January

Assigning suitable posts to active party workers

Mobilising cadre for field-level awareness programs

The Jana Sena chief believes that reorganising the party now will prevent internal dissatisfaction and energise the cadre.
