New Delhi Murder: A shocking new development has emerged in the Mehrauli murder case, accused murderer Aftab Poonawalla used to speak into Shraddha Walker’s ‘severed’ head which he kept in his fridge. According to a Live Hindustan report, Aftab would speak to her ‘severed’ head and sometimes even ‘beat’ her when she got angry. Aftab had murdered his partner Shraddha Walker in cold blood on May 18 and then cut his body into 35 pieces. He had kept the remains of the deceased’s body in a 300-liter refrigerator until he could dump them all in a nearby forest area. He also reportedly kept his ‘severed’ head and torso in the fridge and disposed of them last.

Planned to kill a week before 18 May 2022

Poonawalla revealed on Tuesday that he had decided to kill his girlfriend more than a week before the murder, according to Delhi police sources. “More than a week before the murder (May 18), he had made up his mind to kill Shraddha. He said that, even on that day, Shraddha and I had a fight(May 18). I was determined to kill her when he suddenly got emotional and started crying. So I held back for later,” a New Delhi police source quoted Aftab Poonawala as saying in his confession.

Hobby for police shows

Aftab also confessed to his fondness for watching crime-related web series and shows and it was from these shows that he borrowed ideas about how to preserve severed body parts and dispose of them later, police said, adding that he did it all for itself. .

“I like watching web series and crime serials and it was while watching these shows that I came up with new ideas on how to preserve the human body parts and keep Shraddha alive in the eyes of her family and friends. It was to avoid any doubts or suspicions about his whereabouts which I kept posting on Shradhha’s Instagram profile after the murder. I did it all by myself,” the defendant told New Delhi police.
