Congress Flag on Jubilee Hills Land: Who Is Naveen Yadav? His Inspiring Success Story
Naveen Yadav Jubilee Hills MLA:For the first time since Telangana’s formation, the Congress party has succeeded in hoisting its flag over the prestigious Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency. The credit for this historic achievement goes to the newly elected MLA, Naveen Yadav, who delivered a massive victory, rewriting constituency history.
Historic Victory in Jubilee Hills By-Election 2025
The Jubilee Hills by-election results matched the exit poll predictions perfectly. From the first round of counting, Congress maintained a consistent lead. The BRS candidate, Maganti Sunita Gopinath, could not gain momentum despite receiving sympathy votes.
Naveen Yadav, after years of struggle, finally accomplished his dream—winning as an MLA with an impressive 25,000-vote majority, a margin that even big leaders like former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin could not achieve earlier.
Who Is Naveen Yadav?
Born on November 17, 1983, Naveen Yadav comes from a Hyderabad-based real estate family. His parents are Kasturi and Chinna Srisailam Yadav. He is married to Varsha Yadav, and they have a son, Ansh Yadav.
Their residence is located near the Yusufguda Checkpost, which falls within the Jubilee Hills constituency—making Naveen a true local leader of the area.
A Strong Foundation in Real Estate
Following in the footsteps of his father, who was a successful real estate entrepreneur, Naveen entered the property business. His persistent hard work and business acumen earned him a respected name among Telangana’s leading realtors.
Political Journey of Naveen Yadav
Naveen first entered politics through the Hyderabad-based party AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) in 2009. His work and growing influence within the party soon caught the attention of the top leadership.
2014 Telangana Elections
AIMIM fielded Naveen Yadav from the Jubilee Hills constituency. Although he lost to TDP’s Maganti Gopinath, the result positioned him as a strong political contender.
2018 Elections – Independent Candidate
After being sidelined by AIMIM, Naveen quit the party and contested as an independent candidate. Surprisingly, even without party support, he secured 18,817 votes, proving his local popularity.
2023 Assembly Elections
Naveen planned to contest as an independent again, but at the request of Congress candidate Mohammad Azharuddin, he withdrew his nomination and joined the Congress party. From then on, he actively served the people of Jubilee Hills.
Final Rise: Becoming Jubilee Hills MLA
Following the demise of MLA Maganti Gopinath, a by-election became necessary. This time, Congress placed its trust in Naveen Yadav, choosing him over big names like Azharuddin and Anjan Kumar Yadav.
Naveen repaid the party’s trust with a record-breaking victory—finally fulfilling his long-standing aspiration of becoming the MLA of Jubilee Hills.
