Land worth 150 Cr in Hyderbad assigned to TRS party office

At the TRS party plenary meeting in April, TRS chief KCR revealed that the party has Rs 451 crore in the form of time deposits and the total funds held by the party are almost Rs 861 crore. The party has pocketed a whopping Rs 150 crore worth of land in the posh Hyderabad venue.
The Telangana revenue department on Wednesday allocated 4,935 square yards of land to the TRS party’s Hyderabad district office. This land is located at NBT Nagar, road number 12 Banjara Hills. Based on the current market value, the land could cost between Rs 100 crore and Rs 150 crore and that is huge.
A purchase order regarding the land allocation was given to the Hyderabad District Collector to inspect the land and take any necessary action. This GO has become controversial and criticism is pouring out from all corners.
Surprisingly, the TRS party venue is located in the same place and is an elegant palace. The current land allocation is only half a kilometer away and the opposition criticized the TRS government for blatant misuse of power.
BSP leader RS Praveen Kumar strongly attacked the TRS government and CM KCR. “When the TRS party has assets of Rs 1,000 crore, can’t it afford to buy land with its own funds? What has the TRS government done to the Telangana society for them to take over such expensive land? Praveen Kumar questioned.
In fact, the land is of enormous value, and furthermore, TRS does not need a separate party office for the Hyderabad district, as it can be accommodated in the large TRS Bhavan.
