Popular Telugu comedian Fish Venkat, widely known for his punchline “Thodakottu Chinna” from the hit film Aadi starring Jr. NTR, is currently battling a severe health condition. The actor is on ventilator support at a private hospital, and his condition is said to be critical. Fans and well-wishers across the Telugu states are expressing deep concern over his deteriorating health.
Fish Venkat has been undergoing dialysis treatment for the past nine months due to kidney-related complications. Unfortunately, his condition worsened recently, leading to emergency hospitalization. His family has released a heartfelt video on social media, revealing their struggle to manage escalating medical expenses and appealing for financial assistance. The video has since gone viral, sparking emotional reactions online.
This is not the first time Fish Venkat has faced a health scare. Four years ago, he suffered a major health setback due to alcohol abuse, but survived with the support of film industry colleagues and generous donors. However, his career took a hit afterwards, and he faced financial difficulties due to a lack of film opportunities. According to his wife, the stress and depression pushed him back into alcohol and smoking habits.
In a painful statement, Fish Venkat’s wife expressed her disappointment, stating that the very friends who once influenced him into unhealthy habits are now absent during his time of need. “They were there when everything was fine, but now they don’t even visit him at the hospital,” she said.
