The early life of Draupadi Murmu

Draupadi Murmu was born in the small Baidaposi village of the Mayurbanj district of Orissa. Since her childhood, she was excellent in her studies and is also a great devotee of Lord Shiva. From an ST family, she faces many difficulties and completed her higher education after serving as a school teacher at the Shri Aurobindo Comprehensive Education Center in Rairangpur. Later, he joined the BJP party in 1997 to start his career in politics.

Draupadi Murmu Political career

Living in the less developed areas, Draupadi was able to graduate from the women’s college and then began her political journey by being elected as a councilor of the Rairangpur Nagar panchayat in 1997. She also served as the National Vice President of the BJP Party. By doing a good job in the party, she was finally able to become the first tribal to become a governor of Jharkhand.

She also served as Independent Charge Minister of State for Trade and Transport and Development of Fisheries and Animal Resources. Apart from this, she was also an MLA for 4 years from 2000 to 2004. She got the Nilkantha award for her tremendous work after becoming an MLA and was also portrayed as the best worker in the match and MLA.
