Does BJP Successful Game-plan?

BJP: Shortly after voting for the Gujarat Assembly election concluded, the exit polls were released. In Gujarat, the BJP is likely to retain power for a record seventh time. This shows how the Gujaratis have placed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Although exit poll predictions were matched in Himachal Pradesh, the BJP has the upper hand over the opposition. The exit polls have increased the confidence of the BJP and now the party has decided to focus especially on the states where the BJP is in opposition, especially the southern states.

There are elections in key states next year. The mandate of the Assembly of Karnataka and Telangana in the south, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan in the north, and the five north-eastern states will end in 2023. With back-to-back elections, the BJP will outline plans to win the polls.

BJP still trusts Modi’s leadership and would seek votes with Modi’s charisma. Apart from this, the BJP will also bring out other weapons that are solid in its arsenal. The BJP leaders have decided to escalate the accusations against the opponents. The saffron party has formulated a new method of campaigning in all states by reflecting not only regional issues but also local issues as state issues. Modi, Shah, and JP Nadda have decided to appoint additional managers for the states where the elections will take place. This decision will be implemented soon.

The BJP’s real aggression will come from the central investigative agencies. Officials from the ED, CBI, and IT departments appear daily in front of the political leaders of opposition parties in every state. All three agencies are choking the leaders with the raids. This situation is seen more in Telangana and Karnataka states also. Karnataka Congress leader DK Sivakumar and TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha are just known examples.

The main target of these central investigative agencies are leaders who are popular and have deep financial backgrounds. It is said that raids on opponents will increase from January. ED has more work to do than the CBI and the BJP’s strategy is to hit the financial base of the opponents. If the raids are carried out effectively, the opponents will run out of money by election time and the BJP will “seize” this opportunity by spending more, hoping to win the election.

BJP does not hesitate to divide the ruling parties into states. The mission of the party is to have the state government in its hands by the time of the elections. First in Madhya Pradesh and recently in Maharashtra, the BJP succeeded in dismantling the governments. As long as you are in Rajasthan, the Congress government can fall at any time. Attempts were made in the past but the Congress high command woke up and pacified Sachin Pilot who was about to quit the party. The BJP experiment failed in Telangana, but this does not mean that the saffron party has not given up.

Telangana’s chief minister, KCR, who knows the BJP’s political tactics, is always on high alert. If there is criticism coming from the BJP, the TRS party is responding effectively and aggressively. There is a strong possibility that KCR will call for an early election given the political circumstances. KCR does not want to give the BJP time to prepare it for the polls.

Consequently, KCR is likely to make a key decision on the occasion of the winter session of the assembly along with the cabinet meeting scheduled for the 10th of this month. That is why the whole country looks towards Telangana now.
