Seven Places Targeted: Delhi on Edge After Fresh Bomb Threats

Delhi bomb threats: Delhi was once again gripped by panic after bomb threat emails targeted seven different locations across the city. Just days after the massive explosion near the Red Fort, fresh threats were sent to five Delhi district courts and two CRPF schools, triggering a major security alert on Tuesday (November 18).

High Alert in All Delhi Courts

Security agencies immediately tightened surveillance across all district court complexes after receiving the threat emails.

According to officials, bomb threat messages were sent to:

  • Patiala House Court
  • Saket Court
  • Rohini Court
  • Dwarka Court
  • Another district court in Delhi

The emails were reportedly issued in the name of “Jeesh-e-Mohammed.”

At Saket Court, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) carried out an extensive precautionary search. Court operations were suspended until lunch as a safety measure. Officials later confirmed that work would resume once the area was fully cleared.

All district courts in Delhi have been placed on high alert, with intensified checks, increased police presence, and strict screening of visitors.

Threat Emails Sent to CRPF Schools

Along with the courts, two CRPF educational institutions in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar also received similar threat emails.

The timing of these threats—occurring so soon after the Red Fort blast—has raised fresh concerns about the capital’s security preparedness.

Concerns Rise After Red Fort Explosion

The bomb threats come shortly after the November 10 car explosion near the iconic Red Fort, which shook the entire nation.

Key details of the Red Fort blast:

The explosion occurred in a crowded area

13 people lost their lives

Over 20 others were injured

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the probe

Early investigations have already uncovered major suspicious leads

The back-to-back incidents—first the deadly blast and now coordinated bomb threat emails—have forced authorities to implement the highest level of vigilance in key public and government areas.
