Dasara Movie Review

Natural star Nani brought the ‘Dasara’ festival to the audience at Sri Ram Navami. Coming and coming… It introduced a new director in Indian cinema… He is Srikanth Odela (Srikanth Odela). Evadra by Srikanth Odela.. Does this natural star have any mind? Not that anyone feels pan-Indian cinema is going to happen with this new guy. The director who made the Dussehra movie with Nani felt the same way. Hey, am I crazy? He’s making a movie with me. I have no actual experience. I am a trainee from the movie ‘Nannaki Premato’. My experience as an assistant in ‘Rangasthalam’ is missing. I have not made any other film. If I make a pan-Indian movie like that, what’s the good? Am I really crazy? If you go directly and tell me this… then what I said…

The hearing will decide on March 30 if I have mental health or not. If you don’t have a lot of faith in the director, this word will come. His faith was unshakable. Nani brought the ‘Dasara’ festival on Sri Ramanavami day with mind-blowing content.

Yes, all Tollywood star heroes are playing it safe with star directors…but Nani is giving new directors a chance…not just giving a chance…to take on a new director in the rank of Pan India means saluting your guts. If you think a new director means the story will be something new… It will take unexpected turns… It will make you sit on the edge of your seat. Everyone knows the story. The story that everyone has seen is this ‘Dussehra’. From the movie ‘Jagadam’. ‘, ‘Uppena’.

Dasara Movie Story

To tell the story in one line… the story of ‘Dasara’ is about how Rama killed Ravana who was looking at Sita. Professional supremacy… the hero’s rebellion… is routinely seen in all revenge stories. Dussehra is also a similar story. Director Srikanth Odela succeeded in showing the routine plot as an engaging drama with the portrayal of the characters. Showing realistic characters in the fictional village of Veerlapalli is a reflection of the genius of the director. The director wrote the story of ‘Dussehra’ to reflect on the social conditions of almost three decades ago when his brother NTR announced the ban on alcohol. He turned a blind eye to the reality of caste discrimination, aristocracy, and the lust of the nobility.

Although there is no unexpected trigger point in the story, he has made it creepy with strong scenes and touching dialogue. With natural stars like Nani and Keerthy Suresh, the director gave it a different treatment than the usual setting. A sample of realistic and rustic emotional drama. If blood ran, the director also ran alcohol. The justification given by the director for the Telangana tradition that drugs are not our addiction is a good one, but the drunken scenes in the background of the silken bar are irritating in places. The first 30 minutes seem a bit confusing.

But Rustic Bag Drop gave a new flavor to the movie. From start to finish… Different color tint brings a new experience. Director Srikanth Oleti has used technical values as an experienced director in this regard. He gave quality footage on a limited budget. At the beginning of the movie, it’s like watching a theatrical movie. But with the pre-interval scene, the movie hits the safe. After that, the ‘Dasara’ festival continues. The second half leads with emotional drama…the pre-climax and climax scenes sustain the movie. Especially the ending scene with the villain… the love track of the hero and the heroines… their wedding and the wedding twist… are beyond imagination.

When Nani was talking about this movie, it seemed like she was talking too much when I saw the promos. But Dharani showed universality in the role. Although Nani has been seen in movies like ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ and ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddha’ before with a tough look, this is the first time in such a mass. Nani yearned for a mass image.

Vennela Patra is the main plot of this movie. At first, it looks like Samantha on stage, and Rashmika on Pushpa, but as the story progresses, Vennela’s role becomes clearer. Keerthy Suresh dubbed her own character. Look glamorous. In the first half, she looked very funny as a teacher from Angan wadi who steals the children’s eggs. Keerthy Suresh reminded me of ‘Mahanati’ again in the scenes before the pre-interval. The emotional scenes in the Nani and Keerthy Suresh combo are as if two actors of the stature of Parineeti are competing. After the movie ‘Nenu Local’… this is a perfect comeback movie for Keerthy Suresh and Nani. Dharani and Vennela acted in roles. Nani is crying in the scene where the sound doesn’t come out when the friend’s head is thrown in front of their eyes.

Dixit Shetty is impressive in the role of Suri. He impressed in the hero-like role. Keerthy Suresh, Nani, and Dixit Shetty were the mainstays. The love triangle between them seems new. Shine Tom Chacko is awesome as the villain. Saikumar, Samudrakhani, and Poorna played important roles. Comedian Riaz landed a good role as a member of Nani’s group. Riyaz also acted in comedy scenes and in action scenes. Anchor Soni Chaudhary has a prominent role in this movie. She acted well as a young woman who falls prey to the villain’s lust.

On the technical side… Art director Avinash created a village called Veerlapalli on 22 acres and gave a wonderfully rustic delivery. Fight Master… Satish is also a newcomer… The action scenes are well done. Especially the coal robbery action episode was exciting. Ravandahanam at the climax is the highlight of the action episode. Sathyan Sooran’s camerawork is another plus for Dussehra. Instead of Nani and Keerthy Suresh on the screen, he seems to be seeing Dharani and Venne. They were shown to be so natural. With his camera eye, he displayed the desired naturalness of the town’s backdrop.

Santhosh Narayanan’s background score is good. ‘Chamkila Angilesi’ is exciting to listen to but… it’s visually clear. Also, the performance of the song ‘Dhoom Dham Dostan’ is good to see. Overall, the movie ‘Dussehra’ is a perfect paisa wasool movie. Even if there are complaints that the story lacks novelty, it is a routine revenge drama, but the collections will surely go down. Bids from 12 assistant directors who have worked for this film are lining up as the hero Nani, but there is no doubt that director Srikanth Odela will be the star director. The new guy has screened ‘Dussehra’ as Unnade’s content. A high-voltage emotional action drama that connects with the mass audience.

Dasara Movie Rating – 4/5
