Bandi Sanjay: “Hindu Means BJP, BJP Means Hindu” — Sharp Attack on Congress in Jubilee Hills By-Election Campaign

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar made strong remarks during the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign, declaring that “Hindu means BJP and BJP means Hindu.” He alleged that the ongoing political contest in Jubilee Hills is a direct battle between the Congress and BJP, and criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his alleged pro-Muslim politics.

Congress Means Muslim, Muslim Means Congress: Bandi Sanjay’s Allegation

Speaking at a BJP campaign rally, Bandi Sanjay accused Revanth Reddy of saying that “Congress means Muslim and Muslim means Congress.” He claimed that the Congress government has ignored Hindu interests in Telangana and appealed to all Hindus to unite and support the BJP in the upcoming by-election.

He further stated,

“All surveys in Jubilee Hills have been tampered with. Hindus must come together and ensure BJP’s victory to protect Dharma and development.”

Criticism on BRS and Congress Governance

Bandi Sanjay targeted both BRS and Congress, alleging that the poor remained poor even after a decade of BRS rule. He said the Congress, after coming to power, is now demolishing houses of the poor in the name of Hydra project.

He alleged,

“All demolished houses belonged to Hindus. The Congress government did not act against Fatima College, which was built by encroaching on a pond. If BJP comes to power, we will demolish that illegal structure and build houses for the poor Hindus.”

‘Indian Muslim Congress’ Remark

The Union Minister also mocked the Congress party, calling it the Indian Muslim Congress (IMC) under Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He questioned whether Hindus in Jubilee Hills were proud to identify as Hindus or not and clarified that his comments were not meant to be provocative.

He said,

“I will wear my Hindu identity proudly around my neck. Calling out the truth is not communalism.”

Attack on Revanth Reddy and Owaisi Brothers

Bandi Sanjay slammed Revanth Reddy for wearing a cap during the campaign and asked whether he could persuade AIMIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi to visit Hindu temples. He alleged that both Congress and BRS are promising to build crematoriums for Muslims while ignoring Hindu concerns.

He asserted,

“BJP is the only party that truly protects Hindu Dharma. If BJP wins Jubilee Hills, it will bring Hindu Rajya to Telangana.”

Remarks on Late Maganti Gopinath’s Case

Bandi Sanjay expressed distress that his mother was not allowed to see the late MLA Maganti Gopinath in the hospital. He alleged a conspiracy to seize Gopinath’s assets and criticized the Congress government for inaction despite complaints filed a month ago.

He demanded,

“If CM Revanth Reddy is sincere, let him order an impartial investigation into this case.”

Conclusion

Bandi Sanjay called upon all Hindu voters in Jubilee Hills to support the BJP to ensure development and the protection of Hindu interests in Telangana. He concluded that a BJP victory will strengthen Hindu unity and ensure that Telangana receives more central funds for progress.
