Huge Expectations on Aadi Saikumar’s ‘Shambala’

Aadi Saikumar’s upcoming film ‘Shambala’ is generating strong buzz among movie lovers. Directed by Yugandhar Muni, this scientific-mythological thriller is all set to hit theatres on December 25. The film carries special significance as it marks the 49th film in the career of music director Sricharan Pakala.

Sricharan Pakala’s 49th Film Milestone

Sricharan Pakala, who made his debut as a music director with ‘Kiss’ directed by Adivi Sesh, has carved a unique identity in Telugu cinema. His notable works include Guntur Talkies, Goodachari, Evaru, DJ Tillu, Major, Tillu Square, and Bhairavam. With ‘Shambala’, he reaches an important milestone in his musical journey.

A Challenging Scientific & Mythological Thriller

Speaking as part of the film’s promotions, Sricharan Pakala revealed that ‘Shambala’ is one of the most challenging projects of his career.

“This film has multiple layers and themes. From the moment director Yugandhar narrated the story, he was very clear about the sound design. His understanding of sounding helped us immensely,” he said.

He added that this is his first scientific and mythological thriller, making the experience even more exciting.

Sound Design Is the Soul of ‘Shambala’

Sricharan emphasized the importance of sound for thrillers:

“Sounding plays a crucial role in keeping the audience engaged. To maintain suspense, the background score must be strong and unique. The four songs in ‘Shambala’ have turned out exceptionally well.”

He also confirmed that a melody song will be released soon, adding to the film’s musical appeal.

Creative Freedom From Producers

The film is produced by Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy under the Shining Pictures banner. Sricharan praised the producers for giving him complete creative freedom.

“They never rushed me. We completed all the songs and background score in a single stretch. That kind of support is rare,” he shared.

A Film Meant for the Big Screen

Highlighting the theatrical experience, Sricharan said:

“‘Shambala’ is a film that must be watched in theatres. The sound design is completely new, and audiences will enjoy it even more on the big screen.”

‘I Never Copy Music,’ Says Sricharan Pakala

Concluding the interaction, the composer made a strong statement about originality:

“‘Shambala’ is my 49th film, and ‘Anumanapu Pakshi’ will be my 50th. I have never copied anyone’s tunes. Even if it means working without sleep, I make sure my music has my own signature.”

Star Cast & Technical Team

Apart from Aadi Saikumar, the film features Archana Iyer, Swasika, Madhunandan, Ravi Varma, and others in key roles. With strong content, fresh music, and innovative sound design, ‘Shambala’ is expected to be a thrilling cinematic experience this Christmas.
