Renu Desai in 16 Konda Pandaga: Actress to Be Seen as Aunt for the First Time
Renu Desai has been waiting for solid opportunities to return to Telugu cinema. She has been busy writing stories and planning her directorial projects. At the same time, she is also choosing acting roles carefully. Though she appeared in Tiger Nageswara Rao, the film’s result did not showcase her performance the way it should have.
Now, Renu Desai has signed a new film titled 16 Konda Pandaga, marking her comeback in a unique role. For the very first time, she will be seen as an aunt. Renu shared that this role fits her age and the story narrated by director Sai Kiran Adivasi impressed her a lot. She confidently stated that the audience will find her characterization refreshing.
The film introduces Sai Krishna Dammalapati, son of popular producer D.S. Rao, as the hero. D.S. Rao is well-known for successful films like Pilla Zamindar, Mr Nookayya, and Drona. The movie’s pooja ceremony was attended by top industry names, including Allu Aravind, TG Vishwa Prasad, Mythri Ravi and Suresh Babu, indicating the strong connections behind the project.
Director Sai Kiran Adivasi of Vinayakudu fame is looking for a solid comeback with this film. The story has been under development for a long time, and respected filmmaker Krishna Vamsi suggested the title 16 Konda Pandaga (16 Days Festival). Popular music composer Anup Rubens is scoring the film, adding good buzz to the project.
With a strong technical team and exciting character roles, 16 Konda Pandaga is expected to be a key comeback film for both Renu Desai and director Sai Kiran Adivasi.
