Rajamouli Aligaru.. did not insult Hanuman: Hyper Aadi fires on trolls targeting Telugu heroes

Rajamouli Varanasi controversy:

Superstar Mahesh Babu and director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming pan-world film Varanasi recently stirred a storm on social media. During the grand title announcement event at Ramoji Film City, a massive 100-foot LED screen was arranged to unveil the title teaser. However, a sudden technical glitch delayed the screening.

Rajamouli, visibly emotional, made a comment referencing Lord Hanuman while expressing frustration over the interruption. Though he did not intend disrespect, the statement led to widespread trolling on social media, with a section of people accusing him of insulting Hanuman.

Now, popular comedian Hyper Aadi has reacted strongly to the controversy, defending Rajamouli and condemning the rising troll culture in Telugu cinema.

“Rajamouli didn’t insult Hanuman”—Hyper Aadi

Speaking at the pre-release event of Priyadarshi’s film Premante, Hyper Aadi clarified that Rajamouli is deeply respectful towards epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata.

He said:

“Rajamouli garu is the man who placed Telugu cinema and India on the world map. Everyone knows the passion and dedication he puts into every film. Trolling such a great filmmaker over an emotional comment caused by a technical issue is very unfair.”

Aadi added that Rajamouli has never insulted any god, and made the comment only out of frustration since the teaser was delayed.

Trolling Telugu heroes is becoming a dangerous trend

Hyper Aadi blasted the negative culture of trolling actors and filmmakers for trivial reasons.

He questioned:

“Jr NTR is trolled for being a little thin…

Balakrishna is trolled for anything he says…

Allu Arjun is trolled even for smiling…

Sai Dharam Tej is mocked despite recovering from a major accident…

Is this fair?”

He said this toxic environment is discouraging artists who have made Telugu cinema proud globally.

Global stars being mocked in their own state

Hyper Aadi expressed concern that even actors with worldwide recognition are not spared:

Prabhas is trolled for his looks.

Ram Charan is mocked with reels and memes despite global fame.

Baahubali is known internationally as “India,” yet Indians troll these stars.

He also mentioned Vijay Deverakonda, saying it is cruel to mentally pressure someone just because of a single flop.

Strong reaction on trolling Srileela

Aadi responded to the trolling of actress Sreeleela, saying:

“A South Indian girl is trying to shine in Bollywood. How can people say she cannot act just because she dances? If Bhagavanth Kesari is being appreciated in Bollywood, her performance is also part of its success.”

Deep anger over deepfake videos on Chiranjeevi

Hyper Aadi condemned the creation of deepfake videos targeting Megastar Chiranjeevi:

“How wicked is it to troll even a megastar who ruled the industry for three decades? Making fake videos on a legend is an unforgivable crime. Chiranjeevi is not a leader of any caste or community—he is a national icon.”

Trolling is damaging Telugu cinema culture

Aadi concluded that constant trolling is destroying the essence of Telugu cinema:

“Even heroism looks like comedy because of memes. Movies are failing due to these negative trends. We are harming our own industry.”

His comments have now become a major topic among fans on social media. It remains to be seen how the film fraternity and fans respond.
