Rain Alert in Telugu States: Heavy Showers Predicted for Next 4 Days
Rain Alert in Telugu States:
Monsoon Trough & Bay of Bengal Low Pressure Trigger Widespread Rains
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, forecasting moderate to heavy rainfall over the next four days. The weather disturbance is attributed to a low-pressure area over North Telangana and Vidarbha, which is expected to move west-northwestwards and gradually weaken. However, its transformation into a surface cyclonic circulation today, combined with the active monsoon trough, will continue to fuel non-stop rains across the Telugu states.

The IMD has declared a yellow alert for Telangana, warning of intense rainfall and gusty winds up to 40 kmph. Key districts likely to experience heavy showers include:
Adilabad

Note: No orange alert has been issued for Telangana at this time.
