Rahul Gandhi Targets Government Over RSS Agenda in SIR Debate

New Delhi – Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched strong criticism against the central government during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) debate in the Lok Sabha. He alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is working to take control of constitutional bodies and claimed that the government is actively implementing its agenda.

Rahul Gandhi accused the administration of attempting to weaken democratic institutions and alleged that supporters of the RSS do not believe in equality and are systematically dominating key institutions. He also claimed that the electoral system has been brought under influence and that the country’s diversity is being harmed.

He further alleged that the Election Commission of India is being misused to weaken democracy and stated that genuine electoral reforms are not reaching the grassroots level. Rahul questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were deeply involved in the appointment of Election Commissioners.

The Congress leader also alleged that central agencies such as the CBI and ED are being used to target political opponents. He claimed that the government is shielding these agencies and working closely with the Election Commission. Rahul stated that he was speaking with full evidence and stood by his allegations.

He criticised the government for claiming to have implemented major electoral reforms and alleged that “vote theft” occurred in several locations, including Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. He also claimed that CCTV footage from ethe lection processes was destroyed and said that the Election Commission failed to clarify issues related to fake voting.

Rahul Gandhi maintained that many of his questions on election irregularities remain unanswered.
