Pawan Kalyan Says Indian Culture Is the Foundation of the Nation

Pawan Kalyan Indian Culture Statement: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan emphasised that Indian culture and civilisation are the true foundation of the nation, stating that the strength of India lies in its timeless heritage. Sharing his thoughts on X, he highlighted how the deep wisdom of Sanatana Dharma has shaped the principles of tolerance, peace, harmony, and respect for all creation.

“Sanatana Dharma taught us to live with universal compassion,” says Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan explained that India’s cultural depth has always inspired unity and human values. He recalled that during British colonial rule, both colonial leaders and East India Company traders not only looted India’s wealth but also attempted to damage the cultural confidence of Indians.

He pointed out that figures like Thomas Babington Macaulay deliberately planned intellectual destruction, creating an education system that disconnected Indians from their heritage. According to him, this mindset encouraged cultural shame, ultimately acting as a blueprint for “cultural slavery.”

Colonial mentality still lingers, says Deputy CM

Pawan Kalyan expressed concern that although the colonial rulers physically left India decades ago, the mindset created during their rule still persists. He stated that regaining cultural confidence is necessary for building a strong and self-assured India.

Praises PM Modi’s efforts toward cultural identity revival

The Deputy CM appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for initiating a cultural renaissance. He said that changing the name of Race Course Road to Lok Kalyan Marg symbolises shifting the national focus from colonial influence toward public welfare.

He also mentioned that the Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting) at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple represents the revival of India’s ancient cultural identity and civilizational pride.

“India’s future lies in reconnecting with our roots” — Pawan Kalyan

Calling upon the people of India, Pawan Kalyan said the nation’s strength lies within its cultural roots. He urged everyone to reconnect with India’s heritage to build a more confident and self-reliant future.
