IBOMMA Administrator Ravi Arrested: Surprising Truth About His Software Company CEO Role
The arrest of the IBomma website administrator, Immadi Ravi, by the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police has created a massive sensation across the Telugu states. Ravi has been identified as the key mastermind behind a large-scale piracy network operating since 2019, responsible for leaking thousands of movies and causing an estimated Rs. 3,000 crore loss to the Indian film industry.
When produced before the Nampally Court, the investigating magistrate ordered 14 days of judicial remand, after which Ravi was shifted to Chanchalguda Jail.

For some time, Ravi had been facing personal issues with his wife. Due to ongoing marital disputes, he reportedly traveled to Hyderabad from France to initiate divorce proceedings.

Ravi reportedly completed his MBA from Mumbai University.
Before moving to the Netherlands and the Caribbean Islands, he established a software company in Hyderabad.
He is the CEO of ER Infotech, a company offering web design and development services.
Ravi originally hails from Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and owns an apartment in Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
This revelation has stunned many, as the accused was not only running a large piracy network but also operating a professional software company simultaneously.
Police Investigation: Tracing 65 Piracy Websites
Based on a complaint from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, CCS Police registered cases against 65 piracy websites, including the well-known IBomma.
So far, five key suspects have been arrested, with Ravi’s arrest marking the biggest turning point.
As part of the ongoing probe, police are:
Analyzing old and new IBomma domain history
Tracking foreign server logs
Examining website server locations
Identifying the entire network of developers, uploaders, and financial operators
The IBomma and Bappam TV websites have already been taken down by the Cyber Crime Police, and further action is expected soon.
