Fatal Accident in Hyderabad ORR: Driver Burnt Alive as Car Catches Fire
A tragic accident occurred on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR) when a speeding car suddenly caught fire near Shamirpet. The incident left the driver burnt alive inside the vehicle, creating panic among commuters and locals.
According to police reports, the car was travelling from Shamirpet towards Ghatkesar when a technical malfunction led to a suspected short circuit, triggering a massive fire. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire car within seconds. Before the driver could escape, the vehicle was completely consumed by the blaze, resulting in his death on the spot.
🔹 Police Register Case, Investigation Underway
Firefighters rushed to the location after receiving information and extinguished the fire. The police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to identify the deceased and determine the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary assessments suggest a short circuit, but officials are examining other possibilities as well.
🚗 Another Serious Car Accident in Machabollaram, Secunderabad
In a separate incident on the same day, a speeding car created chaos in Secunderabad’s Machabollaram area, near Select Theatre. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which rammed into nearby shops.
Several people, including the driver, sustained serious injuries as the car was crushed in the impact. Alwal police reached the scene and conducted rescue operations. All injured occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital. More details are awaited as the investigation continues.
