Bihar New CM: BJP Confirms Nitish Kumar for Chief Minister Post – Key Statement by State President
Bihar New CM Nitish Kumar: Political developments in Bihar are moving at a rapid pace. Amid the ongoing discussions about the formation of a new government, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal has provided complete clarity on the next Chief Minister.
Speaking to a media channel, Jaiswal confirmed that Nitish Kumar will take over as the Chief Minister in the new government. He mentioned that the only step pending is the formal process of electing him as the leader of the alliance.
Jaiswal revealed that the BJP Legislature Party meeting has been scheduled for 10 AM on Tuesday (November 18) at the state BJP office. During this meeting, the BJP will select its leader. Following this, the NDA Legislature Party meeting will be held, where Nitish Kumar will be officially elected as the leader of the alliance.
He further stated that the oath-taking ceremony will be conducted at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The event will be grand, with notable attendees including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states.
With the BJP’s official confirmation, Bihar’s political landscape is set for another significant transition as Nitish Kumar prepares to assume the Chief Minister’s role once again.
