Bigg Boss Telugu 9: Emmanuel Becomes Second Finalist After Dominating Swing Zara Task
The grand finale of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is just around the corner. The show, which began its journey on September 7, has successfully completed 13 weeks and has now entered its crucial 14th week. With only two weeks left for the finale, the competition inside the house has become extremely intense.
The title race has narrowed down to strong contenders like Kalyan and Tanuja, while Emmanuel and Sanjana are also emerging as powerful competitors. This week took a dramatic turn when Captain Kalyan received a special power to save one nominated contestant and place another in the danger zone, creating new tensions and shifting alliances among housemates.
Adding to the drama, Bigg Boss introduced a unique task called “Box of Impact.” Six mystery boxes were sent into the house, each containing score values ranging from 0 to 2,50,000. The housemates were asked to distribute these points among themselves.
In this task:
- Emmanuel received 2,50,000 points
- Tanuja was given 2,00,000 points
- Deeman secured 1,50,000 points
- Suman Shetty got 1,00,000 points
- Bharani received 50,000 points
- Sanjana was given 0 points
This decision deeply hurt Sanjana, who broke down emotionally. Though Emmanuel and Deeman supported her, the majority stood by their decision. As a result, Bigg Boss sent Sanjana to jail.
Later, Bigg Boss announced a major twist, stating that the fate of all housemates is now in the hands of the audience. From this week onward, the leaderboard will determine their journey. The top performer will be safe from nominations, while the top two will get a chance to secure safety through audience votes and special powers. The lowest-ranked contestant faces the risk of elimination. Due to the jail punishment, Sanjana was not allowed to participate in the first challenge.
The first battle task, titled “Swing Zara,” was moderated by Kalyan. Emmanuel delivered an outstanding performance and secured first place, strengthening his position in the finale race. Meanwhile, Bharani, Deeman, Tanuja, and Suman Shetty ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard.
Fans are now strongly believing that Emmanuel has become the second finalist of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 after his back-to-back performances.
