, AP officials have completed all the arrangements on the state government side. The lists of eligible persons have already been prepared for the Annadata Sukhi Bhava scheme. So far, it seems that 45,64,005 farmers have qualified for the Annadata Sukhi Bhava scheme across the state. Of these, 44,30,149 farmers have completed this KYC. This KYC is pending for another 1,20,148 people. However, during the YSR Congress regime, the last time the farmer assurance money was deposited in the accounts of 53.58 lakh farmers was in January 2024. However, compared to that time, it seems that there are 7.94 lakh fewer beneficiaries. It is reported that the details of lakhs of farmers have been put on hold due to technical problems as well as revenue complications. Especially with the comprehensive land survey undertaken during the YSRCP regime, many land problems arose. Now, they are becoming an obstacle in the implementation of the Annadata Sukhibhav scheme.

This is why most of the applications are pending. Currently, the items related to the Revenue Department have been sent to the Tahsildars’ login. The lists have been finalized as per the government’s approval, excluding the pending cards sent to the Tahsildars. The previous government had applied farmer assurance to ORFR cultivators along with D Pattat. However, are they now eligible for Annadata Sukhibhav? Or not? It is to be known. It is reported that the lands of those farmers are not being considered, as they are shown as government lands on the website. This alone is likely to keep lakhs of farmers away from Annadata Sukhibhav. However, it seems likely that the government will take a positive decision in their regard.
