Does TRS take Sharmila’s YSRTP lightly?
In a surprising move, YSR’s daughter, YS Sharmila, who is a big name in Andhra Pradesh, has dabbled in the politics of Telangana and wants to try her luck. For that, Sharmila is using her late YSR father’s successful idea, Padayatra. She is touring the state aggressively.
As Sharmila has high hopes of winning the polls, Telangana’s IT Minister KTR(TRS) surprised everyone with his take on YS Sharmila’s impact on the state polls. TRS Labor President KTR called a press meeting earlier today and answered some interesting questions.
When KTR was asked about the impact Sharmila would have on the polls, the Cabinet Minister said that Sharmila would have an impact on two districts in the Assembly polls.
Although Sharmila hopes to translate the support of YSR supporters into votes, there are some actors who would turn against her. Telangana is a state that was formed on the basis of the culture and interests of the Telangana people.
Sharmila’s father, YSR, was against the formation of the state and even asked if she needed a passport to get to Hyderabad from Andhra Pradesh. Political parties often attack Sharmila for the same issue.
