Pawan Kalyan at Kondagattu: Anjaneya Pujas & ₹35.19 Cr Temple Works

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is set to visit the famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Telangana on Saturday. During his visit, he will offer special pujas to Lord Anjaneya and lay foundation stones for major temple development works worth ₹35.19 crore, funded by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

According to the finalized schedule, Pawan Kalyan will be present at the temple from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. During this time, he will complete darshan, perform rituals, and inaugurate several construction projects aimed at improving facilities for devotees.

Kondagattu Anjaneya – Pawan Kalyan’s Ilavelpu

Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy holds deep spiritual significance for Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, who considers the deity his Ilavelpu (family deity). Before launching major initiatives such as the Varahi Vijaya Yatra, election campaigns, and other key political programs, Pawan Kalyan has consistently sought the blessings of Kondagattu Anjanna.

After his victory in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections, Pawan Kalyan once again visited the temple and performed special pujas, reaffirming his long-standing devotion.

Temple Officials’ Requests & Devotee Facilities

During his earlier visit, temple priests and officials highlighted several challenges faced by devotees traveling from distant regions. They requested the construction of:

A Deeksha Ksheera Mandapam

Rest rooms

A devotee hostel

Recognizing these needs, Pawan Kalyan assured full support and took the proposal forward with the state leadership and TTD authorities.

₹35.19 Crore Development Works Approved by TTD

Responding positively, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu approved the development plan. In a recent TTD Board Meeting, ₹35.19 crore was officially sanctioned for Kondagattu Anjaneya Kshetram.

Key Projects Under This Fund

Deeksha Ksheera Mandapam, accommodating 2,000 devotees at a time

96-room accommodation facility (inn) for pilgrims

Several dignitaries, including TTD Board Members, local MLAs, and senior officials, will attend the foundation stone–laying ceremony.

Meeting with Jana Sena Leaders

Following the temple program, Pawan Kalyan will attend a Jana Sena Party meeting with Telangana state leaders and party workers. He will also interact with candidates who won the recent Telangana Panchayat Elections with Jana Sena’s support.

These meetings will take place at Brindavanam Resort near Kodimyala.
