Salman Khan to Invest ₹10,000 Crore in Telangana | Major Announcements at Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025

The Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 witnessed historic investment announcements, with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan emerging as one of the key investors. The Telangana government signed over 35 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on the first day itself, attracting investments worth ₹2.43 lakh crore, marking a major milestone in the state’s development journey.

As per official announcements, Salman Khan Ventures Industries will invest nearly ₹10,000 crore in Telangana. The project includes the development of a world-class film and television studio along with a premium entertainment township. The initiative is expected to generate thousands of employment opportunities and boost Telangana’s media and entertainment ecosystem.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy confirmed that Athirath Holdings will also invest ₹4,000 crore in establishing 25 Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants across Telangana, supporting clean energy goals and creating large-scale rural employment.

 

Major Investments Announced at Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025

Several leading domestic and global companies announced major investment plans:

Brookfield Axis Ventures alliance to invest ₹75,000 crore to establish a deep-tech and global R&D hub in Bharat Future City.

Win Group approved investment of ₹27,000 crore in renewable energy and EV infrastructure.

SIDBI committed ₹1,000 crore for startup funding and innovation support.

Everen Axis Energy to invest ₹31,500 crore in solar and wind mega power projects.

Megha Engineering Group to invest ₹8,000 crore in solar, pumped storage and EV projects.

GMR Group signed an MoU worth ₹15,000 crore for aerospace and defence cargo and MRO expansion.

Apollo Microsystems to invest ₹1,500 crore in defence and avionics manufacturing.

Green Energy, Hydrogen & Industrial Expansion

To strengthen sustainable energy infrastructure:

Greentech Electronics, Renesys and Midwest will jointly invest ₹7,000 crore in hydrogen technology expansion.

Sahitech India to invest ₹1,000 crore in hydrotech distribution.

Krishna Power Utilities announced a ₹5,000 crore integrated steel plant project.

Ultra Bright Cement and Rain Cements committed ₹2,000 crore to expand cement production capacity.

Textiles, Education, Media & Sports Projects

Sitaram Spinners will set up a textile manufacturing unit with an investment of ₹3,000 crore.

Solapur Telangana Textile Association will invest ₹960 crore in power loom and technical textile units.

Apollo Group announced ₹800 crore investment to build a world-class medical university in Hyderabad.

An MoU has been signed with the University of London to establish a modern skill development centre in Hyderabad.

Supercross India will set up an international-standard racing track and motorsports training academy in Telangana.

 

Global Media & Wildlife Projects

In a major development:

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) signed agreements worth ₹41,000 crore to establish an international media and smart technology hub in Hyderabad.

Reliance Group will set up the largest wildlife conservation project in Asia, “Vantara”, in Telangana.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that these investments reflect strong global confidence in Telangana’s industrial policies. The government has reiterated its commitment to converting every rupee invested into long-term infrastructure and quality employment.
