Story Overview
Raju (Akhil Raj) enjoys a carefree life in a picturesque village, living with his parents (Sivaji Raja, Anita Chowdhury) and supporting his family through the local Melam Troupe. With a little more precision in the latter half, this could have easily become one of the standout rural love stories in Telugu cinema.
Performances
Both Akhil and Tejaswini shine in their debut. Despite being newcomers, they deliver mature, lived-in performances. They capture their characters’ innocence, love, and pain with authenticity.
Chaitanya presents a refreshing shade of villainy, while Sivaji Raja, Anita Chowdhury, and the supporting cast add solid emotional weight.
