Upasana Baby Shower at Chiranjeevi’s House: Allu Family Missing – Here’s the Real Reason
Upasana Baby Shower: Global star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela have once again made the Mega family and fans rejoice with happy news. On the occasion of Diwali, Upasana announced that she is expecting her second child, bringing double joy and double celebrations to the Mega family.
Mega Family Celebrations at Chiranjeevi’s Residence
The Diwali celebrations at Megastar Chiranjeevi’s house turned extra special this year. Several top Tollywood celebrities — including Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Nayanthara — attended the grand event. Initially, everyone assumed it was a festive Diwali gathering, but soon after, Ram Charan and Upasana shared a video titled “Double Blessings, Double Celebrations”, revealing the big news — Upasana is pregnant again.
In the video, Surekha Konidela, Chiranjeevi’s wife, and other close family members were seen performing aarti and blessing Upasana during the traditional Seemantham (baby shower) ceremony. The visuals confirmed that the Mega couple is preparing to welcome another baby soon.
Upasana to Welcome Twins?
Speculations are rife that Upasana might be expecting twins. The buzz started after Upasana’s mother, Shobana Kamineni, shared a heartfelt post saying, “Anil and I are eagerly waiting to welcome Ram Charan and Upasana’s twins next year.” Her post also mentioned that she will soon become a grandmother to five grandchildren — sparking excitement among fans and confirming the joyful news.
It is worth noting that Ram Charan and Upasana welcomed their first daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, two years ago. The Mega family has been celebrating a series of auspicious occasions ever since.
Where Was the Allu Family?
While the Mega celebrations filled social media, many fans noticed the absence of the Allu family — including Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun, Sneha Reddy, and Allu Sirish — from the event. Their absence quickly became a hot topic in Tollywood circles.
Although there were earlier rumors of a rift between the Mega and Allu families, they have often appeared united on important occasions. Hence, fans began speculating about the reason behind the Allu family’s absence from such a major family event at Chiranjeevi’s residence.
Reason Behind the Allu Family’s Absence
As per close sources, the reason is not a family feud but a matter of tradition. Recently, Allu Ramalingaiah’s wife and Allu Aravind’s mother, Kanakaratnamma, passed away. According to Hindu customs, family members avoid participating in auspicious ceremonies for a year after a close relative’s demise.
Therefore, the Allu family chose to stay away from Upasana’s Seemantham as a mark of respect for traditional customs. However, both families reportedly share warm relations, and the Mega family fully understands and respects their decision.
Conclusion
The Mega family is glowing with happiness as Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela prepare to welcome new members into their family. While the Allu family’s absence sparked speculation, the real reason lies in tradition, not tension. With the upcoming arrival of twins, the Konidela family celebrations are only set to grow bigger in 2025.
