This is a new trend on Twitter
One-word tweets are seen everywhere on the popular social networking site Twitter. It’s trending on Twitter right now. Celebrities from movies, sports, politics, and business are also following this one-word trend. Not surprisingly, the original trend started by mistake. The American railway company Am Track tweeted a single word “trains” by mistake on September 1.
Organizations like NASA, The Washington Post, Mail Chimp, and celebrities like President Joe Biden are also getting in on the trend by tweeting single words. This one-word method has also become very popular in India. Cricketer Dinesh Karthik tweeted his wife’s name as ‘Deepika’ (Deepika Pallikal), while Deepika tweeted her husband’s name as ‘Dinesh’.
This trend has also gained momentum in Telugu. The RRR film crew tweeted ‘Ramaraju’ and another tweeted ‘Bheem’. NTR Arts tweeted ‘Fear’ and ‘Jagat Jjarika’ separately.
And Indian batting master Sachin Tendulkar tweeted his favorite word ‘cricket’. On the one hand, while this trend is accelerating, Am’s first tweet ‘Trains’ has received 1.60 lakh likes, 20,000 retweets and more than 3,000 quoted tweets.
